In response to the specific needs of our clients and prospective customers, we first try to tailor solutions based on adaptation an integration of available technologies, including our own. However, should process modifications or new process steps or equipment be required, we have the capability to develop and deploy them as needed.

Gasification is a process that converts carbonaceous materials by reacting the raw material, such as house waste, or compost at high temperatures with a controlled amount of oxygen and/or steam. The resulting gas mixture is called synthesis gas or syngas and is itself a fuel. Gasification is a method for extracting energy from many different types of organic materials.

When waste is gasified, the volume of solid waste is reduced by about 95%. The primary output is valuable syngas that can be converted to clean energy. The remaining ash is a commercial product. Gasification is the central hub of several alternative energy technologies.

Arc Southern has alliance with Alan Environmental which provides the technology for the bioreactor design.The single most valuable component of landfill design and operation is conservation of airspace. Airspace is what is being sold by landfill owners and operators. Most landfills are permitted to a certain volume or height limit. The more tonnage of waste or revenue generating materials that can be place in a cubic yard, the more the life of a landfill can be extended. There are several methods that can be used to increase the life of the landfill by increasing the amount of waste that can be disposed of in the permitted volume as shown.
